About QR Generate
Jimmy Raymond is the developer behind QR Generate. Color blind himself, he builds accessibility-first web tools — and brings the same contrast/optical rigor to QR codes so a styled code still scans.
Most QR generators happily let you make a beautiful code that won’t scan — too little contrast, a logo too big for the error-correction level, or a missing quiet zone. Because the failure only shows up after you’ve printed, it costs real money. QR Generate exists to fix that: it checks contrast, error-correction headroom, and quiet zone live, and runs a real in-browser decode test before you download — so a styled code still scans.
QR Generate is part of a small network of accessibility- and engineering-focused web tools, including the OKLCH color suite at rgbhex.com, whose contrast engine powers the scannability checks here.
